COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the programme is to raise awareness of our collective responsibility to safeguard and promote the needs of children and young people. It will allow those who work with, or take responsibility, for children and/or parents and carers at all levels to increase their knowledge and understanding of child protection so that their ability to promote the safety and welfare needs of the child is increased.

WHO IS IT DESIGNED FOR

This qualification is designed for those working with children and young people, as well as those working with adults who are parents or caring for children. Safeguarding training is now mandatory for all those who work directly with children, young people, their families and/or carers.
